At Trinity Lutheran you can look forward to the same thing many or our members now look forward to each and every week. A place to grow, be challenged, be loved, and have fun in the abundant life that we've been created to live out through a relationship with Jesus Christ. That's what we are all about. Here at Trinity we have uplifting music as well as down to earth teaching, but the most important thing is that you will always hear the truth of the message of Jesus Christ. So, we invite you to come and take it all in for yourself on any given Saturday, at 5 pm, or Sunday, at 10 am.

Here are some of the common questions and concerns we answer on this page:

  • Getting Situated
  • Feel at Home
  • What should I wear?
  • What about the kids?
  • What about the offering?
  • Will I be able to follow along with the service?
  • Can I take Communion?   How does it work?

Getting Situated

Once you get here you'll find plenty of parking, including spaces for visitors. There is also handicap accessibility that lead you right to the front door. When you enter the building from the front entrance you will be in the entryway.  Here is where we are able to meet and greet one another before and after services. Restrooms can also be found on the ground floor. The sanctuary is straight in front of the main entrance. We also have a viewing room where you can take young children, if needed, during the service. This room is also used for Bible Study, at 9am, right before the service. Upstairs is where we have Sunday school, supervised by at least two adults, and if you wish to sit with your child you may.  There is also handicap access to the second floor, through the sanctuary, where there is a back stairwell. G
reeters and ushers will be on hand if you need any assistance. There is always someone to welcome you, give you a bulletin, and gladly answer any further questions you may have.

Feel at Home!

You will always feel welcome here at Trinity. We will greet you with smiles and handshakes.  If you're here, we know it's because you have a personal relationship with God. And that's important. But know that, now that we've gathered together to worship, your attendance is as much for our benefit as it is for yours. Like with the spirit and joy that comes with any family reunion, welcome home! And whether or not you're joining us for the long term or just on vacation, please feel free to sign our Guest Book in the entryway or fill out one of the cards in the pews. We'd love to thank you for your visit!

What should I wear?

God accepts us as we are - no matter who we are, what we do, or how we dress. We do not have a dress code. Worshipers at Trinity wear anything from jeans and tee shirts, to slacks and golf shirts, to suits and ties. Please wear whatever you feel is most comfortable for you in this setting.

What about the kids?

We want families to receive the greatest benefit from worship. God wants all children to come to Him, and we feel it is important for children to be present with everyone else in our worship services. Again, we do have a “Viewing Room”,  where a family can still view and feel a part of the service.

What about the offering?

At some point after the pastor's message, offering plates will be passed. This is an opportunity for our regular members to actively respond to all God has given them by freely offering their resources in support of His church. We certainly do not expect or require visitors to put anything in the offering plate, though you are welcome to do so if you choose.

Will I be able to follow along with the service?

The best tool for any worship service is the hymnal, located in each pew. The order of service will also be printed for you in a bulletin, as well as projected for you on a screen, so it is easy to follow, clearly referencing where you need to be in the hymnal
. We believe we have here, at Trinity, the most user-friendly, innovative way to worship ever, but, if you still need assistance, any of our members will be happy to answer your questions, especially our volunteers for the day. Why not try bringing your own tablet or iPad for a fresh experience at worship! The bulletin can be downloaded from our website. Just look for the bulletin tab.

Can I take Communion?   How does it work?

Inside each bulletin is printed our communion statement. Essentially, if you're an LCMS Lutheran, you may commune with us. This is what it means to have a close communion practice. Those of us who commune together are close because we have the same confession. Therefore, quite simply, if you do not subscribe to the same confession as us, do not know what you believe or do not understand the concept of ones confession needing to be identical with ones practice, it is not appropriate for you to commune with us. It is our prayer that making this absolutely clear will in fact show respect for both your own integrity and ours.

On a more practical note, for LCMS Lutherans who are new to our congregation or joining us for the first time, we first of all remind you that we are receiving the very body and blood of Jesus Christ for our forgiveness. Therefore we must remind ourselves that we are sinners and come humbly before the altar for none of us deserve it, even those who understand it rightly and correctly come together to receive it. Practically speaking, worshipers take direction from the ushers so that the correct amount of individuals fit comfortably around the sanctuary railing. We offer the common cup and individual cups. If receiving an individual cup, you'll want to fold your arms so that the communion assistant with the individual cups knows to offer you this as the pastor will pass by you as he offers the common cup to everyone else at the rail.
